Maxwell Lee (Adel Maxwell) is a conceptual artist, producer and songwriter from the woods of New England. Maxwell has carved out a unique style of Americana music, starting out as a pioneering guitarist for influential underground Metal bands in the North East (Shot Down Sun as well as Vallon), blending his heavy musical roots with the melodic delivery of Folk Blues and Rock and Roll. Acoustic guitar now sets the instrumental backbone for Maxwell’s poetry, mingling fingerstyle picking with classic punk riffs.

MPIAPOMP stands for My Place Is A Place Of Many Places, a philosophy born from a life of transience, friendship and resilience. Maxwell has lived in such a way, often sustained by odd jobs and seasonal labor — constantly producing art and writing songs about what he’s seen. His productions are a direct result of lived experience: empathetic and pointed, dark, yet not without a sense of dogged humor and life’s irony.
